Things are looking up!

I thought i'd give an update on my life and my dad's health.

Although my dad is still in the hospital, he's doing a lot better. He's been in the hospital for a month now, and in CCU for two weeks. As of Monday, they transferred him to the PCU- which stands for the Progressive Care Unit. (I have surprisingly learned a lot about medicine, hospitals, and medical equipment in the last month!)

We were all so happy when we heard this news, it's a step up from the CCU, and that is good enough for all of us. Everything is happening slowly, but it is such a blessing to see less IVs and drugs and machinery on my dad. He's able to engage in conversation more, and his physician said that he has miraculously had a complete turnaround this last week. Praise and thanks to God for listening to all our prayers!! Since everything in the hospital system and in my dad's case seems to be as a day-by-day case, we still don't know when he'll be released. His surgeon is still waiting for my dad's health to be back to 100%- like it was before his infection- to have surgery. So, we don't know if he'll be released for a bit, or if they will just keep him in the hospital to be released after his surgery. We don't know if he'll be home for Thanksgiving...

We just need prayer for my dad's health to be at 100% again and for him to be able to eat.
Hopefully everything will be better soon.

Oh Good :) Glad to hear things are getting better, hope he recovers well from the infection, so he can have his surgery! And if he can't come home for thanksgiving, you can totally bring thanksgiving to him! Yay!

Hope your job is going well! Let's get together again soon!
